Matsuyama Castle, is one of the three large-scale multi-wing castles of Japan; there is an impressive view of the Matsuyama area as well as - on clear days - of Mount Ishizuchi and the Seto Island sea and many islands.The castle is visited by many people throughout the year, and is known as a picturesque site to enjoy the cherry blossoms in spring.
